Data storage options varies in each sub-department. Often the data sets are too large to back up so if you have critical data please discuss your requirements with IT Support.

Some smaller groups (particularly those in the Clarendon) have data storage provided by the Windows infrastructure group. This data stored on the experimental data storage servers is backed up on a regular basis, however it's recommended that all experimental data is also backed up elsewhere: how that's done will depend on the amount of data involved.
